SUMMARY
The Andean Foundation presents an ambitious project to safeguard the cultural heritage of the Mokaná indigenous people in Tubará, Atlántico. This project, essential for the preservation of the historical and cultural memory of the community, addresses the loss of key elements such as language and ancestral traditions. The research proposes a series of strategies to recover and revitalize the Mokaná cultural identity.
Among the actions proposed, detailed documentation of cultural heritage is included, as well as the restoration of ancestral practices that have been in danger of disappearing. In addition, the creation of accessible digital archives is contemplated, which will allow the conservation and continuity of this knowledge for future generations.
